Rebecca Self is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist. Many of the kids and parents she works with will tell her, “You’re not what I was expecting a therapist to be like.” And they mean it as a compliment! As a play therapist, (and as a person), she believes in finding the joy and fun in life, and that energy comes out in her work. While we do work on deep issues in the playroom, it’s rare you’ll find her without a warm smile.

We are out of network providers.
We are out of network providers, which means that we are able to put your care above all else.
However, if you have any out-of-network reimbursement options from your insurance, we will send you a "superbill" each month that you can pass on to your insurance to try for reimbursements. Not sure if you have that option? No worries. Call the 800 number on the back of your insurance card and ask them if you have "out-of-network mental health reimbursement options or a deductible you have to meet before qualifying for out-of-network reimbursement."
If you do not want the hassle of contacting your insurance, there is a platform called Mentaya that gets clients money back on their sessions by submitting out-of-network claims. If you qualify, Mentaya will handle everything with insurance to make sure you get your money back. They charge a 5% fee per claim and have helped people get thousands of dollars back per year. Mentaya’s goal is to save you time and money. It’s completely optional, and as therapists we do not benefit in any way from your participation.
