“Kids just want to be seen and heard. They don’t need to be problem solved.”

  • You’re worried your child is being perfectionistic and hard on themselves. No matter what you say, they beat themselves up after school about friends or grades. Your child’s teachers always say they are “a pleasure to have in class.’ They are calm, cool, and collected, but when they get home, they have big meltdowns. You don’t know what to say. You don’t want to say the wrong thing and make it worse. Your childhood trauma haunts you and you don’t want to recreate it for your own children.

    I’m here to help.

I work with older elementary and pre-teen/teen girls who are usually gifted and have anxiety or ADHD. These young women know they're stressed, and they are eager to have someone engage with them, teaching them new ways to handle their stress. They typically feel relieved to have someone who will listen to them.

  • I’m a licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist, trained in EMDR and ERP from the International OCD Foundation. I know how to work with children, preteens, and teens in a way that is developmentally appropriate. Children don’t always come to us wanting to talk; they communicate in more subtle ways when they play. I help you uncover how your child communicates so you can support them through their development.

  • My clients often say they appreciate how much their kids love coming to their sessions with me and how helpful I am in supporting them through their children’s developmental process.

When I’m not in session, you can find me hanging and traveling to new places with my two girls, husband, and dog. I love running (even when I’m slow), reading, sipping a honey sea salt latte from Sunday Press, writing, and getting on my yoga mat as often as I can.
